Two of my friends at school play guild wars, and another two play World Of Warcraft. Now since there is no monthy fee on GW i want to get GW instead of WOW, so instead of doing a WOW VS GW im doing a GW VS GWF.
Now my friend says to get both but i dont think im gonna do that so im not sure which to get. Can anyone help! Also i think that the original GW i will prob get anyway so i will deffintly be able to play with my friends.

factions is an expansion pack. so, get GW first then once you have done nearly everything get factions.

Aren't there international districts? I think you can play with other people from different countries on those. Anyway, just in case I have two characters. A monk named Humpy the Grumpy and a ranger named Gorky Linus. What's your character?
