I'm a fan of smash bros and metal gear solid, but snake in smash?!? He doesn't fit the genre, he can't possibly fit in. I still think it will be a good game, but snake should not be there.

I think nintendo was going to put sonic in it, but having a hedgehog bounging off your head isn't possibly as much fun as fighting snake...or is it?
Well I think nintendo replaced Sonic with snake because some fans begged for it on their knees :D
Anyway I can't wait to use samus on her new suit (you just gotta love it 8) ) I'm a Smash fan all the way!
On the other hand, some people are not happy about the wii controller, I love it, but what do you think about it? I mean just picture four people playing a mario party 10 or wtv. The minigames have to be really fun with that controller. Also I've seen the warioware trailer for wii and I almost wet my pants :D lol

The game is gonna rock, and the new theme, composed by none other than Nobuo Uematsu; composer of the FF series' music, is totally awesome :D
I am so excited for SSBB, and am going to get it, as well as Fire Emblem Wii (not official title).
And I only hope they can put my fav Nintendo Character in it, and leave Pichu in it (Pichu kicked butt!).
Vote for Lyn from Fire Emblem! She would so kick Nintendo Butt in SSBB brawl. Her speed, skill, and critical hits would so cream others. Her defense is a bit low, though. She can use the bow (if they plan on using her evolved form), preferably either the silver bow, that grade S bow, or the killer bow. She also wields a special sword called the Mani Katti (Sole Katti is a bit too big), which is a bit like the killing edge, but much more powerful and swift!

The game's somewhat more flashy but I think it looks too much like Melee.
Solid Snake may not fit the genre, but in that case I don't think a lot of of the characters fit in this genre. They want more people to buy the game, and I bet a lot of MGS fans are interested in how Snake fights in this game, maybe it'll get more sales for the Wii, and they can do this because MGS used to be on Nintendo.

I vote for Forde, but that's pretty unlikely. A guy riding a horse would just be kind of weird, with the jumping and whatnot... I guess they could always put him in sans the horse, though. I'd also like to see Marisa and/or Joshua, but they're pretty unlikely to be in there, either.Quote:

Err, on topic, I don't think that the character himself is that out of place. The only thing 'out of place' about him is that, as has been pointed out, he is not a Nintendo character. Hey, who knows, maybe we'll be seeing more non-Nintendo characters in SSB games.

Lyn was the first main Fire Emblem character to appear in the USA (Excluding Roy and Marth from SSBM), and a lot of people seem to be after her. I would estimate that she probably has about a 75% chance of appearance, and the fact that she is the only main Fire Emblem character to use the bow and sword and one of the only main girls (excluding Eirika) to appear, and SSBM didn't have too many Female players in it (Samus, Peach, and Zelda were female, but the others were either Male or Genderunknown [Pokemon were either male or female, but you could never tell]). At this point, she just has to make it in!
Ike was the first 3d Fire Emblem character to appear alltogether (Japan released Path of Radience only about 8 months before we did), and people seem to like him. He has a better chance of appearing in SSBB than Lyn, because he is well loved to those that own the game. I would say he has an 80% chance of making an appearance. My little brother loves Ike, but wants Lyn in it with her, so we can face with our fav Nintendo Characters.
Hector was one of the 3 main characters in the first Fire Emblem (I seriously doubt they'll put both Eliwood and Roy in this one, because then it would be like Darth vature Vs Luke skywalker), and he is a heavyweight that can do serious damage with an Axe, and he can use the sword after Evolving, and many guy players really like Hector, but he has a slightly smaller chance of appearing than Lyn, having about a 70% chance of appearance.
As for Snake appearing, I just hope this factor doesn't make the game M rated (imagine an M rated SSBB, where there was blood all over the battlefield, and Wario using his Gas-attack), but if it doesn't, I remain neutral, as long as Pichu stays, and Lyn is put in!!
I wouldn't be surprised if they put Erika, Ephraim, Lyn and Ike all in. Let's hope so.

i like solid snake. he's like kurt russell (snake pliskin) in escape from ny/la. i give him full range in killing little yellow rats and pink puffs.
I would like to see Lucas from Fahrenheit (Indigo Prophecy) in there.

The first MGS games (You know, the one where snake fights big boss, and the one where snake apparently killed grey fox (only for him to return as the cyborg ninja)) They were originally on a nintendo system.Quote:

About the controller, I like the design, I like the idea, although it may be a little hard to get used to. But some people hate it, why I do not know, too much of a change I supose.
About Fire Emblem, it was never released where I live :cry: . But the new one will be getting released here I believe, I have heard alot about it, and I am looking forward to it, it better not disapoint me.
EDIT: Almost forgot this, the new SSBB will be capable of online play, I look forward to facing some of you. :putemuppunk:
Technically, Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword was the first one to be released nationwide (that is the one with Lyn in it [the character almost always as my avatar]), but maybe it has yet to reach Europe...I am not sure, but it will.Quote:
