I like destruction and reality, and one invariably leads to the other.

Hi, I'm looking forward to see Poltergeist 2015 and Insidious: Chapter 3 |

I think the really scary movies were probably done long before CGI, and before the Japanese version of The Grudge and The Blaire Witch Project seemed to set a "this is how you make the movie scary" template for all subsequent horror movies. Classics like The Exorcist, Mr. Frost, or Rosemary's Baby were much scarier, because they had to try harder to scare you; and they did so usually by making you think. |

If you want a good horror game try Outlast, it seems really well made and quite scary to boot |

Babadook was the last great horror movie i saw. i've been into horror for as long as i can remember so nothing really scares me any more but that movie had some pretty chilling moments. as for books the first one that comes to mind is Song of Kali by Dan Simmons. |

Let the right one in by John Ajvide Lindqvist is a great horror book in my opinion. The swedish film adaptation of it is also pretty good. |

I highly recommend checking out Stephen King. Great writer. He has definitely written some books that made me want to sleep with the lights on. The Shining, Salem's Lot, The Stand, so many. Undoubtedly my favorite writer. |

The two books that really freaked me out were 'Ghost Story' by Peter Straub, and 'Heart-Shaped Box' by Joe Hill. They both just kinda screwed with me psychologically. |
