Thread: What fictional items would you like to have?

As the title say, what fictional items would you like to have in real life that will work same as in their universe? Here is my list:

- a dual-bladed lightsaber
- a Death Note
- a Green Lantern ring (I can create a lightsaber with one)
- the Omnitrix
- the Dragon Balls (I can wish all that items, one per year)

Definitely agree with the Death Note. 10/10 would get corrupted by

And um, you mean to tell me I have a Death Note and a Red Lantern? Well I'll have a bey-blade then.

Good point about ring. Now I think that I prefer a blue ring more because:

1. blue is my favourite colour
2. my hope power is stronger than will power
3. I can do more things with it

By the way, I know it'd cross companies, but could you imagine the Hulk with a red ring? And people say Batman with a green ring would be over powered...

Harry Potter's invisibility cloak, a few Mario power ups, and a hoverboard.

Something that would grant me the powers of the Q.

Hm, Percy Jackson's pen is pretty cool. It transforms into a sword (Riptide) when the cap is removed. That's pretty damn awesome.

The pencil spongebob and patrick find that can draw anything you want.

The ability to travel to multiple universes/realms or Having Telekinetic powers.

Ever since I was a kid I've wanted a pair of seven-league boots.

I read a story with them in it once...or maybe it was a dream, but it always stuck with me. The idea of simply putting them on, and in minutes you could travel hundreds of miles away...

Also:

The Book of Thoth...the fictional one, from Egyptian mythology..."said to contain two spells, one of which allows the reader to understand the speech of animals, and one of which allows the reader to {understand} the gods themselves".

Skatert-Samobranka, a magical Russian tablecloth that produces it's own food and drink everytime it is laid out, and even magically cleans up the mess when you're done.

Those are actually really cool. I would rather have one of these than any of the other things mentioned in this thread.

Especially when there's such a diverse story behind each of the objects. Screw comics, mythology has the best fictional items.

Fiction is fiction, whether historical or not, That's how I look at it.

Books, comics, stories, legend, myth...(all of these and more) are essentially everything considered to be written..outside reality. Fictionalll.

Everything else is simply non-.

All of the items I listed just so happen to be written about in books...perhaps that is too discriminating a criteria as is.

Theater, film, music, etc., all of it can be either fiction or non. That's a HUGE storehouse of items all told. In fact, one item I considered adding was originally introduced in manga. I just didn't feel it was magical enough in the conventional sense.

I'd like to have a DeLorean time machine from Back to the Future, the Tardis from Doctor Who, a lightsaber from Star Wars, that smaller spacecraft from The Black Hole, a lightcycle from Tron, any one of the robots from WALL-E, and that transporter thing--either that or maybe the UFO-like spacecraft--from Forbidden Plant.

*Just kidding...I sound like one bit of a major Sci-Fi freak when I say that, and yet I am already a Sci-fi freak myself!* Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha...
