I'm starting this thread to hear about any works of art that made you feel uncomfortable. Movies, paintings, music...whatever. I think that feelings of discomfort point to lessons that we need to learn about ourselves. I want to hear what others have seen so I can experience it for myself.

I will start with the following:

Requiem for a Dream: (I tried cocaine once and, because I saw this before, it is probably the main reason I didn't fall into an addiction cycle...cocaine has a very strong pull if you've been doing it all night long)

Into the Void: (I still don't know exactly why this makes me uncomfortable...perhaps it is the fear of mortality)

I've only listed movies; but music, drawings, paintings, and any other form of expression is welcome here.
