Thread: Ichi the Killer (Koroshiya 1)

Have any self-respected members of DV seen the movie?

If so please tell me what you think (lol).

I really enjoyed it but felt really 'unclean' after watching it.

I thought the music and visuals were great, I was a little confused with the plot (think i need to see it again).

Its a disturbing movie....

WARNING: Those with a soft stomach stay away......

I've seen it and yes, it was disturbing, gory and the brutality towards women was hard to watch.

Did I enjoy it.. well I can say that I watched the whole thing (it was sortof like not being able to look away from a horrible car accident).

This is definately an ADULT movie (kids/teens should not be watching it).

You should punish my sister then. She buys the most obscure films as well as mainstream foreign films. She said I had to see it. I think it provides good morals. Don't do what happened in that movie. I found it had some nice drama. I could name some more movies like that.

When I look at a movie I don't look at it as I shouldn't see it because it looks bad. I see it as it is bad and I should learn what I shouldn't do from this movie. I feel it's working because I haven't killed anyone or raped anyone.

It's a violent film and it obviously implies that you shouldn't kill people.
