I've played a ton of games....too many really. I only play PC games now, but I loved my Playstations when they were still alive.. R.I.P
I've never cried at a game before, but ones that have a more emotional feel.
Shadow of the Colossus---Many others mentioned this above. The whole game just feels like a dream. I played it over and over when it first came out and haven't since, but I still remember that amazing feeling when you played it. The ending was quite sad. I wanted more, more, more from this game! But it was great.
Mass Effect series---These are my favorite games. They're like interactive movies and the character development is pretty good. You really feel like you're doing something badass and worthwhile. The games can get sad if you start losing squadmates at the end of the second game...and that sucks... I lost Garrus my first play through. I'm going to play through in a month or so and take my time, do every side mission so everyone survives, and make sure no one dies. Mass Effect 3 coming soon!
Metal Gear Solid 4---Soooo many damn cut scenes, but my god, near the end of the game you seriously get the feeling that Snake has been through hell and it's a special feeling if you've played the others as well.
Mirror's Edge---Again, this didn't make me cry, but there's a special feeling when you play it. The soundtrack is top notch and the whole atmosphere of the game is really great. It's just a game that will stand out from the others I've played and I will remember it.
Brother's in Arms: Hell's Highway--- In my opinion, the best WWII game ever made. It draws you in. You really feel attached to the characters in this game. When something terrible happens...you feel it.
