A couple of friends and I have started our journey into the world of SWToR. So far I'm pleased with the game overall. It definitely needs a few patches, but it's a solid foundation for an MMO. It's definitely a WoW clone, but that's a good thing. |

hmm.... that sounds familliar.... what does this stand for |

KOTOR is one of my favorite games of all time but if the combat is like WOW then I'm not interested. |

Everything works out in the end, sometimes even badly.
I really do enjoy wow's combat system as far as MMORPG games are concerned. But I don't want to raid. I don't want to dredge through random 5 person dungeons with assholes I don't know. I don't want to laugh through dungeons with assholes I do know. I just want to have fun. I don't find progression in wow to be any fun, and I don't find easy dungeons and raids to be any fun either. So at the end of the day, I'm just looking to mix it up. I've leveled to 70, 80, 85 enough times. I don't honestly see myself going back and playing before or after the "Mists of Pandaria." |

The big differences it has with WoW is how the classes are set up. I'm a rogue who heals, and there's also a tank who can stealth. The moves and setups are familiar, but different. Everybody has a set amount of mana so your rotation isn't based on your mana pool. But overall the games are extremely similar, it just comes down to preference. I rerolled on WoW to see if I wanted to play that for a bit about a month ago and I was bored within a few hours. I'm ~20hrs into SWToR and still lovin' it. |

From what you're saying it sounds fairly interesting. I might check it out once I've gone and beaten skyrim. |

I honestly don't know how many days I've logged in WoW. I think it was 200 or so, honestly can't remember. It was too much, that's all I know. I got bored when WotLK came out and every single 2v2 arena past 1600 was DK/HP or double DK. It was completely impossible to beat icemage/rogue which was a really fun CC burst setup in BC. Haven't been back since except for that mini excursion into questing boredom. |

I played the beta and hated it, mostly because I dislike the graphics. I was really looking forward to the game but it just felt so lame playing it with outdated kiddie graphics. I would much rather play Rift instead. |

Yeah I know you can have games with bad graphics but good gameplay but swtor isn't one of them, at least not for me. |
