      Halo Anniversary Release

Has anyone played it? It's really sweet. It's the exact same game, but they put a modern graphics engine on it. Since they didn't have to write a whole new game or do any engine work they could concentrate all their efforts on just how it looks, so it looks awesome. They kept Halo's iconic surrealistic look instead of making it look real, which I like.

The levels are the same, the AI is the same, even the underlying engine is the same. They added terminals, skulls, achievements, and added XBox live support. The coolest feature is the switch feature. They left the old Halo graphics in too and by pressing the back button you can switch between modern and the original graphics.

      Modern Engine

The only thing that made me sad is that they didn't include the Halo 1 multiplayer. They used their current multiplayer engine and just refurbed some of the old levels. Here is the modern take on "Hang 'em High"

I got round to playing Halo (singleplayer) last year. It was a pile of arse, but not because of the graphics.
