Religion and philosophy are topics worthy of intelligent debate. Not Justin Bieber... The idea of looking for an intelligent debate in such a mundane topic is humorous. If I were looking for an intelligent debate I would go talk to my roommates, not start posting in a Bieber thread. I find the idea quite silly, that's all.

Well, since this discussion has appropriate arguments and nothing silly on either side, I'd consider it intelligent. That's all.

Bieber just represents the monotony of current pop/mainstream music. The fact that people continue to listen to this dull, repetitive, cookie-cutter music is a great debate topic. Requiring intelligence, since the only people who would go against the mainstream and realise this, usually have some sort of intelligence.

Musical tastes do not reflect intelligence. Do I really need to point out that calling mainstream music dull is simply your opinion? You keep acting like it's a fact. Guess what, I like Justin Bieber and non-mainstream/underground music what now?
