But hating on the track because it's Justin Bieber and liking it would make you look "uncool", that's just obnoxious.
I'm not saying you can't honestly not like his music, but based on the comments I got (which have now been deleted), nobody even gave it a chance because it's Bieber (and I bet some of you didn't even listen to the song).
That's just my 2 cents.
I'd never scrap the chance to listen to music just because "it's X artist", or because it's a very popular artist. I love Adele even though her music is extremely overplayed on the radio, among others. It's just the sound that bothers me about Justin Bieber; it's too auto-tuned and I enjoy more natural-sounding stuff, not electronic or something that sounds like it's had a computer over-edit it. The rest of his music, bleh. The lyrics just aren't inspired.
Cover songs are great, but I don't usually listen to them unless the artist brings something new to the table in terms of presentation or style - those are strange choices of words given this is music, but...
Everyone's listening to Mistletoe non-stop at my school, but I haven't really warmed up to the song at all. That's just my opinion.
