Did Edward lose his alchemic abilities at the end? |
|
How awesome is this show? If you haven't watched it I recommend starting with the original Full Metal Alchemist since the beginning more closely follows the Manga. After the original series veers off (basically when they introduce the main villain) go ahead and switch over to Brotherhood which follows the manga more closely overall. You may despise it at first, especially the rushed way all the original's epic action is handled, but once it gets through the beginning and starts handling the new material you'll realize you're in store for a damn good anime. |

So let me get this straight: Brotherhood is not a sequel to the original FMA? |

Surrender your flesh. We demand it.
No. The original FMA's first half (up until the introduction of Dante) follows the manga, then they went off into gay-ville and took no stops. They should have just followed the Manga. |

I just watched the first 5 episodes of Brotherhood, should I go back and watch the original (if so, up to which exact episode?) before continuing? It seems like a great series so far. |

I watch it when it's on it seems pretty cool but I don't really know the whole over arching plot, I think I might get into it if I have time. |

"For a long time it gave me nightmares, having to witness an injustice like that. It was a constant reminder of how unfair this world can be, I can still hear them taunting him. 'Silly Rabbit, Trix are for kids!'... How come they just couldn't give him some cereal?"
So once I watch all those episodes of the original FMA, I watch all of Brotherhood right? There won't be too many repeat episodes, will there? eg. Episodes 1 and 2 of the original = episode 3 of Brotherhood. |

Right as Khh said, the writers of the tv show were getting impatient with the writer of the manga so they went off in some stupid direction involving parallel universes and unbelievable villains and stuff. Tv writers are worthless. |

You officially inspired me to watch FMA where i left off. I got giant lulz from remembering random scenes just now. Haha, i love the humor. Even tho the general setting is dark , intense and serious. The jokes are still priceless. And the action was fucking great. Thanks for the reminder, i think it's something i don't wanna miss. |
