How awesome is this show? If you haven't watched it I recommend starting with the original Full Metal Alchemist since the beginning more closely follows the Manga. After the original series veers off (basically when they introduce the main villain) go ahead and switch over to Brotherhood which follows the manga more closely overall. You may despise it at first, especially the rushed way all the original's epic action is handled, but once it gets through the beginning and starts handling the new material you'll realize you're in store for a damn good anime.

If the show had been right, they would have had the patience to make one epic saga beginning to end. This is one series that barely survived the television industry, rather than prospered from it.

Anyone seen the film Star of Milos yet? It sounds pretty good. I guess it's due for release early 2012.
