Yeah, subs for me too. I wonder why they don't hire better voice actors for dubs, they always sound so exaggerated and forced.

Depending on which VAs are in the dubs, I may or may not watch the dub. Anything with Crispin Freeman in it, I'll watch dubbed. Baccano has one of the best dubs I've ever heard. I dunno. Personally, even as an amateur VA, I don't have many problems with who they choose as VAs for most of the dubs I watch.

While not necessarily manga, I stumbled upon an interesting web comic the other day. http://www.lackadaisycats.com/archive.php It's about an underground group of people (well, cats, technically XD) who own an illegal bar during the prohibition. Didn't think I'd like it at first, but I was drawn in. The characters are interesting and relatable, and the art is beautiful and hand drawn. Has anyone heard of this comic?

I'm really enjoying Last Exile so far, it's fun and has an interesting story and atmosphere. The characters seem a little cliche so far but I'm only half way through.

I have seen the first season of Last exile , but for some reason I got tired in the middle and wasn't able to finish it. Even though it is a nice anime.

This thread must not die! Been watching Dragon Crisis lately and even though I'm only on episode 9 it's already pretty awesome. The only negative thing I have about it is the girls are too cliche when it comes to anime which I'm not really a fan of

Just finished watching Tengen Toppa Gurren Laggan and I just love seeing how over powered Gurren Laggan is ^^ . Anyways I am not really sure what to watch right now. I thought of Soul Eater, Fairy Tail, Eureka 7 and Dead Man WonderLand any other suggestions?

Eureka 7 has a whiny kid protagonist, so if you can't deal with that then I don't recommend it. Everyone I know that has watched Soul Eater said it was very good. If you liked Gurren Lagann, there's a movie by Mad House called Redline that has the same kind of humor (ridiculously "overpowered" things, explosions, making things that aren't dramatic very dramatic)

I liked it, but it wasn't very continuous, it was just episode after episode, small conflict after small conflict. Legend of Korra fixed everything that was wrong with it if you ask me. (Except I didn't care for the finale x'D).

The fights in the original series are much cooler and you can see the characters actually train and improve unlike in the Legend of Korra where suddenly the character become strong after getting their asses kicked around. Also the original series were much more funnier . I am not sure that it was not very good that it was not continuous. They had a lot of side stories ,but I have to say I liked them and since most of them were linked to the main plot in some way it felt as if it was continuous. I also liked the Legend of Korra ,but the original series were just better in my opinion.

Wolf's Rain-- THE AWESOMEST!! Awesome plot, fighting.. Charries... Spirited Away-- Cool! Interesting ideas, awesome plot! Pokemon-- SECOND AWESOMEST!! Cool shapes, awesome powers/fights, contests are pretty... ^_^ Awesome Legend of Korra / Avatar: The Last Airbender: COOL!! I finished Dragon Crisis earlier and I have one word for it: SHORT! Actually two words, too short. At 12 episodes it's not as enthralling as I was hoping but it was still entertaining despite being a bit rushed. One of the characters loses then regains his/her memory within a 10 minute time span. That's not how long it should take

Because i'm going to Stockholm (sweden), tomorrow, i want to know if there is any Dragonball anime sold. (Dragonball, Dragonball Z, Dragonball GT and Dragonball Kai) What kind of manga/anime there is? Amount of manga here in Finland is'nt very good so i would like to know if it's any better in sweden. Answers ASAP please.

Started Black Lagoon. I'm pretty sure you're gonna like it. It has some spots I think could be better but it's generelly really good.
