Thread: Post your thoughts on HP7b!!!! spoiler alert

i thought it was great. lots of good action scenes , but it seemed SSSOOOO rushed. the first part of 7 took place over months, and this part was literally probably about 2 days, 3 at the max. The whole hogwarts scene was one night! the epilogue was ridiculous. they could have done better.

I agree that it seemed pretty rushed. It felt like it had a short intro and then the rest of the movie was the climax. I really loved it though Some people were annoyed about the audience's reactions to parts of the movie, but I thought it made it so much more fun to watch when everyone started cheering during parts like

"Not my daughter, you bitch!" and Bella's death, or Neville killing Nagini with Gryffindor's sword.

I didn't really like the epilogue, but then again I didn't like it much in the book either The rest of it was awesome.

I hated 5th, 6th and first part of the 7th film, so I didn't expect much from the last one as well, but I was pleasantly surprised. It did seemed rushed, but not nearly as rushed as the Order of the Phoenix, for example. I loved it, an amazing film. And there was even a moment that I think was made better that it was in a book - Ron and Hermione <3 Incredible.

I loved Ron in the epilogue; he totally looked like a Weasley there.

Anyways, I hadn't read the book in so long, so I was honestly surprised by a few of the parts. I liked the "not my daughter, you BITCH" scene, and Snape's flashback. I'd give the film a solid 10/10.

I cried at the Snape scene. When he was crying and holding Lily all of us just burst into tears.

I really enjoyed it. It was awesome in 3D too. I actually like that they got straight to the point. I'd like to see it again because it was such a rush i'm struggling to remember it.

I think the end could have been better. They didn't look old enough to be parents. But other than that I really liked it Won-won was gorgeous as usual, and there's always a special place in my heart for Snapey-babez. I would see the movie just for those two.

I almost wasn't breathing when Snape's memories were shown. Especially the very beginning of it with both of them being kids. My heart was beating so loud and slow, I thought it was going to stop. And Snape's death was shockingly realistic, I could feel every hit as if I've been attacted.

Also, Lavender's death was a cold shower. I don't remember now it being mentioned in the book, maybe it was, but it felt so wrong and unexpected. She was this annoying, giggling classmate, who you don't really seem care about, but at the same time, that's kind of people who's not supposed to die... I don't know how to explain. And I agree, that without her Ron/Hermione could have never happened.

Harry looked really weird and unconvincing being old X) Ron, the opposite, greatly portrayed the father of a family

Forget only crying during the Snape scene... I cried during the whole movie. During the fight, I cried.

I loved that line so much in the book. I kind of wish they had made her jump in between them and yell it instead, but this worked too

I usually cry really easily, but for some reason I only really started crying once during the whole movie, when Harry found Ron and Hermione before he went out to the Forbidden Forest. I kept thinking about how much Emma Watson's acting had improved over the series, because I ended up staring at Ron and every time I looked over at her expression I started bawling. Actually, I probably would have cried at several other times in the movie, but I was trying not to smudge the 3D glasses and I get embarrassed when other people see me cry, so I tried not to

During some death scenes there were people in the audience audibly sobbing, but I couldn't tell if it was genuine.

Alan Rickman's performance was outstanding.

I liked it overall, of course the movies never live up to expectations, but it was good nonetheless. I didn't like how Voldy's and Harry's fight commenced.. Especially when Harry kills Vold. I felt like there should have been more people around, listening, as Harry talked about the true nature of Snape as well as why he is the true master of the elder wand. I didn't enjoy the scene where Harry walks around after Vold dies, or the bridge scene after that. Just wasn't powerful enough. Kind of like in OOP when Sirius dies and all noise is cancelled. Ugh.

I cried the whole time though, of course. During Snape's memories..I was bawling practically.
