      What songs should I learn?

      I just bought a violin at a yard sale the other day. I took it up to a local shop, and the guy said if he'd seen itat the yard sale, he'd have bought it and put in his shop for $100, so it's decent quality. I finally got the pegs to (roughly) hold a tune, and I've been messing around with it yesterday and today. I know a few things on mandolin, so they translate directly to violin as the tuning is the same.

      So, what songs should I learn?
