Electric Jesus Corpse by Carlton Mellick III

Abstract, dark and surreal. A chilling variation from Kafka and Pratchett.

      Trainspotting by Irvin Welsh

Want a truly tragic event? Read some of these. The movie dosen't compare.

Fear & Loathing In Las Vegas

The movie, although incredible, isn't complete without having read the book. A truly incredible tale by a truly incredible writer. A winding trip into the world of psychedelics.

99.99% of the teenage population does or has tried smoking pot. If you have and you've enjoyed it, copy & paste this into your signature line. Everyone else, you're lying!

Currently practicing WILD. I quote Kaniaz who said it best: "The point of WILD is to piss me off". Though, I have not given up, far from it.

      Siddhartha by Herman Hess

Very serene, promotes a spiritual lifestyle over that of satisfying your physical cravings. Also teaches patience which is something all lucid dreamers need during those dry spells.

      Can I recommend a magazine?

Scientific American (which is good in it's own right) has special issues called Scientific American Minds.

      I like that one ...
Does anyone believe that the idea of "gateway dreams" - i.e. always using the same visualisation to enter lucid dreams - is a likely way to regularly enter lucid dreams? Might it become easier if one uses a routine?
