I am a male 27. what is sad is that there are men in this thread in their 20's watching this show. my advice to them: If you watch and enjoy this show... HANG YOURSELVES! There is no excuse.. Just hang yourselves. your seed is a burden to mankind (in the one in a million chance to carry on your seed. which if you watch this show is about a one in a million chance.). You are probably too emasculated to the point that you can not even comprehend a career that requires any manly work whatsover. You do not even contribute challenging or enlightening thought. You are a waste of life. please just hang yourselves. That is all.

I'm surprised. Your anime signature tells me that obviously like and respect animation, yet your words say the opposite. If nothing else, you should at least be able to respect that most of the season 1 episodes were animated in house by hand, and look stunning. If you view it at a technical standpoint it's not so bad, is it? But everyone is entitled to their opinion. We're not going to force you to watch it, we have no influence over hat you do, just like how you have no influence over us. *hands cup of tea* Relax.

Your sense of masculinity is not the same as mine. Perhaps your masculinity consists of shooting lots of guns. Open, unfounded destruction. Having lots of sex. Driving a big truck. Drinking alcohol until you're either too stupid or too passed out to realize that your life is miserable.

My sense of masculinity depicts a man who's:

• Independent
• Happy
• Intelligent
• Accepting and unbiased
• Harsh ONLY when he needs to be, friendly when he doesn't.
• Comfortable enough with his own masculinity that he doesn't need to attempt to degrade that of those around him to prove the worth of his own.

Lighten up, buddy. Watch the ponies. Don't watch the ponies. We don't care. Go be your sense of masculine somewhere else while we be our own senses of masculine here.

P.S. - Look forward to the day that this generation of bronies' children grow up and one of our handsome, sensitive, little boys turned young man starts dating your daughter, assuming you raised her well enough to know the kinds of people she SHOULD be dating, you manly man, you.

Sorry, I don't like to laugh at people. But since you sound like many of us before we started watching, I am partly laughing at myself. I could see myself posting a rant against pony fans, before I started watching. I would have had to eat some crow big time, and I'm glad I didn't.

Try it, you'll like it.

And for goodness sakes, if you don't try it then don't knock it. But I would advise not to wimp out here. Becoming a brony is not something that you will regret.

You've taken the first step already by showing interest. So, I'll give it 10 days before you succumb to the power of the ponies. Took me 5. Then you will chuckle at yourself the way I do, which is part of what makes watching the show so delightful.
