Pinkie Pie certainly is special, even though she isn't my 'favorite'.



Also I'm pretty sure it was a trombone (Not to mention many other instruments as well, tuba might have been among them)

It's so hard to choose a favorite pony. My list would have to be:
1. Fluttershy
2. Applejack (neck and neck with fluttershy)
3. Twilight Sparkle
4. Rainbow Dash
5. Rarity
6. Pinkie Pie

Sorry, I just think Pinkie's annoying. She has some funny moments, but otherwise she's not a very good character. Comic relief maybe.

On the other hand, not many people like applejack, it seems. She's just about tied with fluttershy, but until she gets her own episode in season two (I'm a bit behind, did she get an episode yet?) she stays at 2nd. Fluttershy is practically the definition of moe for American cartoons.

Oh dear...

Love some of the fanimation/dubs for the show. Some of them are excellent.

My favourite has to be Fluttershy, not sure why though. There's just something about her I really love.
It used to be Rainbow Dash, but somehow it's Fluttershy now

I still can't figure it out.

Applejack embodies an element and attitude that I really would like to have myself, Rainbow Dash is pure awesome, Pinkie Pie is pretty great, too, and then Apple Bloom is both cute and has a really awesome attitude as seen in Bridle Gossip.
I want to say Apple Bloom is my favorite, but there's something about Rainbow Dash. She's was the first one I pointed out as my "favorite" and the others have been competing with Rainbow Dash. But it still is as it always has been, Rainbow Dash is just that little bit cooler than the rest.

Great episode overall, though I feel Derpy and Pinkie Pie stole the spotlight a little.

The show as a whole has really grown a lot since season one, and I also feel that it has started to have greater appeal to older audiences, with tons of great references and details, that I doubt a kid would notice, though the show also still retains its appeal to younger audiences. I just wish the foreign dubs were any kind of decent. My nieces can't learn English quickly enough

Good Celestia, that last episode. That was great.

Also, for some reason, Rarity has jumped greatly up my favorites. Can't quite explain why, she is just best pony now. Bow down to your ruler.

So you might have heard of this, but this guy, who says he's an animator for Hasbro, made a full animation of the fanfic, Cupcakes...
Anyways, I actually kind of liked the fanfic, for some fucking messed up reason, but I didn't feel this video was anywhere near as bad. Sure it is bloody and gory, but it doesn't feel cringe-worthy to me. But it might still be for you, so.

The thing that hit me though, is how awesome (and fitting) the music is. I've been listening to this song constantly since, and the mix between upbeat happy music and the brutal singing + lyrics just makes it so strange yet awesome.

Nope, actually never really looked into browser themes. I usually have pony wallpapers though, right now Calamity from Fallout Equestria is on my background looking badass as fuck.

It seems there's been a bit of an incident with the Derpy episode. I've still got no idea what went down, but people are flipping shit.
Apperantly, a few loud people were complaining about Derpy being offensive to mentally disabled people. Even her name was supposedly offensive. Some even sent hate mail / complaints to Hasbro.
That is terrible enough on it's own. Hasbro puts in a huge (Huge as in unprecedentedly big) shout out to the fandom. A part of the minority promptly complains. The first complaints, I believe, were about her voice sounding boyish.
That was confirmed to be because Tabitha herself wrote that she did not know that Derpy was female at the time of the recording.

Then all shit went down. Suddenly, without any explanation that I know of, the entire episode was pulled down from iTunes. Later, shirts that featured Derpy were renamed so that none of them had the name Derpy in it. From the way I gather it, all the explanations for what was going on was purely speculative. Either the episode was pulled because of the complaints, or it was pulled so they would re-do the voice of Derpy, or it was pulled for some copyright reasons concerning her name. Or it might be nothing like that at all.
Later, Tabitha makes a blog post where she, for some reason, blanks out the name "Derpy" in every instance. Make My Day - www.tabithastgermain.com

Eventually the shirts came back, and the episode is still on Hasbro's own episode, with Derpy in it.

I still have no friggin idea what's going on, but it has made the brony community go crazy, going all "Save Derpy!" and stuff like that. But from the way I see it, it isn't even sure that this has anything to do with her at all? So what in the hell?

In any case! The newest episode was awesome! It was so full of action and Rainbow Dash!

Wow! I can't believe this thread is here! I had to read the whole thread today, which included going through a lot of pony pics with my kiddos.

In the mornings before school my daughter watches this while I brush her hair...which means I watch it while I brush her hair. And yeah...I like it!

Of course, when I found the pony generator, both my kids had to make their own pony. Took me forever to get back on to the thread.

And I was going to share the ponies we created but since I have only been a registered member for two days the forum won't let me post hosted images.
