I guess there are a lot of fellows over there working at Adult Swim on those silly commercial break things. Sometimes they seem to like MLP, and at other times they poke fun at it.

(Either way, I can't really say I give it much thought. I like MLP, and I don't like Adult Swim. What is there to worry about?)

I even tried to get into the show after watching this. Eventually I had to conclude that while I really like the premise and bucking love the (many) theme tune(s), I just don't really like the show. Maybe I'll try again?

Nyeh, Jappleack's tumblr is really depressing. Hotdiggidydemon has a really interesting way of handling humor, and he mixes humor in with depressing things in a very interesting manner. In the videos, he's leaning a lot on bizzare comedy, but the "ask Jappleack" tumblr, which is based off the video APPLE.MOV and SHED.MOV, is really depressing lately.

The newest episode was bloody amazing.
Watched it as it aired on a synchtube, and it just is a lot cooler that way ^.^

It played with what is probably my favorite trope of them all, the Stable Time Loop, which is also used in Twelve Monkeys and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. I fucking love the concept of time travel, especially when it makes "sense" as I think it does with this sort, where time seems to be completely set in stone, which means that traveling back doesn't change anything at all. Also this opens some ideas that are mind boggling; Twilight traveled back, this means that once the time comes, she HAS to go back in time. There's no way around it. Even if she had realized that going back in time to warn herself was a mistake (Which she should have, I mean, isn't she supposed to be smart? ) she would still have somehow ended up doing the same thing anyways.

And a pleasant amount of Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie and Twilight Sparkle solutions. (Monitor everything! If that doesn't work, STOP TIME!)

I started watching the first two episodes of this series, and I love it. Whatever traumatic fetishes that come along with it, I'm so game for it.

Yeah, I know what you mean. The joy that you find after watching the first few episodes and realizing that this little girl's show is seriously your thing, and you love it, is fantastic.

It's kind of an eye-opening experience, not just to the value of entertainment, but to the way you work, and more importantly how you should feel about yourself in regards to other people.

I wouldn't admit to watching sitcoms before ponies.

Now I'll admit to watching ponies, wear a shirt with them, and tell people anything about myself they want to know, unabashedly. I am who I am, and most of the time people appreciate that because I try to be a good guy.

Good heavens, ever since the last episode my brain has been full of Time Travel. The idea of stable time loops where beginnings become unclear and where everything you do trying to change events already happened in the first place, is so god damned fascinating. It's pretty confusing to think of these things, like how Twilight got the power to travel back in the first place. She got that ability because Pinkie Pie found the spell during their adventure that was caused by Pinkie Pie finding said spell
I've gotta watch Twelve Monkeys again...

I spent like a month and a half thinking about chivalry and all its aspects after the end of the first season. That whole situation with Prince Blueblood and Rarity?

I remember asking people what they thought of chivalry. How they felt it fell into normal human behavior, and asked them how they felt about the idea of chivalry in general. I re-tuned my behavior regarding it to a way that I felt was more appropriate, and I spent forever considering courtesy and how it effects and works with the human mind.

And it's always the most random stuff like that. Stuff you would never even bother to think about, otherwise. It's an interesting little phenomenon.

And now McDonald's has MLP figurines for their Happy Meals. The phenomenon never ends.

Heh, I guess those things aren't for everyone. I'm one of those that don't really care about stuff like rule34 and gore. In fact I seek it out every once in a while (not specifically "rule34 and gore", but definitely the less clean things, like Cupcakes and SHED.MOV). Feels a little awkward because it feels like that is definitely the minority, and there's some notion that it's bad. Makes me feel a little out of place

Speaking of SHED.MOV, at the event "Nebraska PonyCon", there's going to be two awesome special guests: Hot Diggedy Demon (Creator of SHED.MOV and the jappleack tumblr) and BaldDumboRat.
