I played a lot of Warcraft 3, but only custom games. I'm a fairly good StarCraft II player, but I haven't played in a while now. I would probably be a pretty good Warcraft 3 player, but I never found it quite as entertaining as StarCraft. |

Anybody here still plays the good 'ol legendary RTS game "Warcraft 3"? Sure there a lot of RTS game out there but who's the best RTS game when it comes to microing? WC3 of course. So the main point here is(you can answer as many as you want) |

StarCraft is a lot more about controlling your economy and building a massive army. The more units you have at any time, the better. In Warcraft 3 you'll lose if you don't find a good balance between not having units and having units. In that way, Warcraft 3 and StarCraft are very different. In StarCraft, the outcome of a battle also depends on micro and positioning of course, but if you can't replenish your 200/200 army in less than 3 minutes of losing it, you lose the game. |

Ah yes, I remember being really into this game. I would always play on the Ranked 1v1 matches in Loarderon (west). I was pretty set on getting 250 wins with human so that I could get the knight icon. Never made it though, only got about 119 I think. |
Does it support the ranked matches like on battle.net? |
In Garena, there is a ranking system. So the more wins you have, the more experience and levels you get. players with higher levels gain access to rooms with higher levels. It's like this: Room X are for player who are lvl 50 above, so if you are only level 10, you don't have the privilege to enter it because it's only for players lvl 50 above. |
Oh yeah I remember that place, is that where you play? By the way, I'd be happy to take our CD key off your hands for ya |
I'm pretty sure the game is like $20 on Blizz Store. You should just buy it really. |

I've been playing WC3 for years. I'd finish the game, then start it again the next year, and the next. I've finished it at least 3-4 times already. Was just playing a bit last night. |
I've been through the campaign so many times but I don't think I've ever finished it. I'd keep having to restart because I reloaded the game onto different computers. |
The good thing about WC3 is that once you've installed the game, you can move the folder the game is installed in onto a new computer. You can then play the game without reinstalling it from scratch. I've moved my Wc3 folder from an XP machine to a Windows 7 Machine, and can load the save game to start where I left off. |
I did played online via Garena, but I forgot my account and Password 3 years ago. |
