Thread: Black Swan

I was watching some movie preview show, and I came across a particular movie titled Black Swan that caught my eye. It comes out December 1, and looks like it's going to be a good psychological thriller as opposed to most of those holiday movies that start rolling out around that time. Here's the official preview.

Yeah, I don't have that many complaints about the movies she's played in so far. As for Mila Kunis, I wasn't too impressed by her role as Mona Sax in Max Payne, but I shouldn't have expected too much out of her in a film like that.

It looks interesting enough. She is a decent actor I think. She was good in Forgetting Sarah Marshall and kinda cliche and mediocre in The Book of Eli. I think she'll be good in this movie though.

Looks like the people who made this movie got ideas from The Haunting in Connecticut.

Yeah, I'm hoping for a good performance. The people who saw it at one of the film festivals is already giving it high ratings.

I missed out on that one. If it it was worth the watch, then it's all good.

hey guys you must see this movie This movie filled with drama and thriller. It looks interesting to watch

Like I said in the "last movie you saw" thread. I think the performances in the movie were great, the dancing was good, and obviously the soundtrack and sound effects were amazing. I did enjoy the camera work as well, throughout the movie. It gave the feeling like the viewer was her, and during the dances when she was practicing, it almost gave the perspective that the audience was dancing with Natalie. My only complaint of this movie would be the actual story. It just seemed to be missing a certain WTF factor that I was hoping for.

Yeah, to be honest I think people hyped it up. I heard a lot of talk before I actually saw it. I was expecting to be jumping off my seat. I kept waiting, and waiting for it to "begin" but it never happened. I think it would've been a lot better if I hadn't talked about it beforehand.

A very enjoyable film though. I especially liked the ending, and all the mirrors. I'd probably like it better watching it the second time round.
