Which DS model?

I'm looking into buying a new nintendo DS model. The problem is, there's five models out there right now, which are DS, DS lite, DSi, DSI XL. Wow. At first I was leaning towards a DSi, but then discovered that they can no longer play gameboy advance games, which was very upsetting. I have a bunch of those type of games lying around at home, so if I were to get a DSi, I'd have to sell them. Then again, also like the simpler DS lite but it looks so bulky compared to the new models. What model do you think should I get? Edit: I already own a DS, the first version they came out with.
