That's right, folks, we will be recording a brand-new episode of the DreamViews Podcast in the next few weeks!
The format that we're trying out for this episode involves member-submitted questions in either text or audio format. Update: Since a lot of people have messaged us to tell us that they're shy or don't have a decent microphone, feel free to just post your questions in text format.
You submit your questions, and then OpheliaBlue, RareCola, SinisterDezz, and I will play them back and answer them on the next podcast episode. Ask us about anything -- lucid dreaming, non-lucid dreaming, sleep, fundamentals, dream control, recall, neurochemistry, Task of the Month cheat codes... you ask it, we'll do our best to answer!
How to Submit a Question
- Post a reply on this thread. Or PM one of us. Or VM one of us. It's all good.
If you'd also like to have your voice be part of the podcast, it's also easy to submit your question in audio format rather than text. All you'll need is a basic microphone, an idea for a question, and about 30 seconds of your time. You can use vocaroo.com to record your questions. (Vocaroo is a website that lets you record an audio file, stores it for you, and then lets you link back to it.)
(Optional) How to Include Audio with Your Question
- Go to vocaroo.com: http://vocaroo.com.
- Click the giant "Click to Record" button. (Choose "Allow" if asked to grant microphone access to Flash.)
- Read your question into the microphone. Play with the "Retry" and "Listen" buttons as much as you like. When you like what you hear, click the "Click here to save" link.
- You'll be given a link that points to your recording. Post that link in this thread (maybe with a little text) and you are done! (The link should look something like: http://vocaroo.com/i/s1tzihXurHar)
That's all there is to it! If you'd rather record your question using your own favorite program, Vocaroo also accepts uploads in any audio file format you like.
We're excited about this format, so don't be shy -- post up those questions! If you've got comments, suggestions, or other questions related to this format, let us know here as well.
