I never tried to find a way of doing it, but it has happened to me. One time I woke up in real life because my bf's alarm went off, then I went back to sleep right away and had a WILD. I ended up doing a TOTM, and a bunch of other stuff. Then I hear a weird buzzing sound and me and a DC were like "WTF is that" and it was my bf's electric toothbrush in real life, seeping into the dream. Then I woke up.
Ok, my bf is super routined. When his alarm goes off, he gets up right away, goes pee, does something loud with his nose, then brushes his teeth. And it always takes 10 minutes. But that WILD felt like 20 or so. Not a huge time dilation, I know. It was just the first time I was actually able to measure what time had passed in real life, and how much time it had seemed like in the dream. Just to check, I even asked Danny later that morning how long he took this time getting ready. He said "Same."
Anyway, this would be a great question to tackle DareDevil!
