LOL, don't worry, it's just a bunch of eyebrow pencil. I used it all up tonight. What's funny and weird is that when I looked in the mirror at a certain angle, I felt disturbed getting too close up, like there was some strange man getting up in my face. I've washed it off now. I guess your fear is a compliment to how effective my makeup was.

By the way, I think we should make an event and a thread where EVERYBODY does drag. I think it would be fun. I'd love to see Miss Oneironaut.

Haha, what also helped was sticking my chin up, so my chin looked more manly. It didn't work as well when I looked downwards and you could see my girly small chin.

I'm still learning who everybody is around here, and I guess I just assumed you were a guy due to your avatar (why I missed the gender symbol I don't know). Then I saw pics of you as a guy and a girl and I didn't know which gender you were until I read the pic discussion thread. Talk about a face that can go both ways! Brava

As inspiring as that sentiment is, I will respectfully decline. Darkmatters is pretty on point. (And that is to say nothing of the fact that I really just have no personal interest in dressing up as a woman, in the first place. Lol.) I think it would be hilarious to see those that are willing to participate, though, so knock yourselves out.

It's okay for a lady to dress up as a man (hell, we all wear pants now, that used to be a strict no-no), to participate in sports or be a tomboy, to play video games and drink beer and act tough because being masculine is great and strong.
It's not okay for a fella to dress up as a lady, to participate in dancing or be effeminate, to sew and sing and drink frilly drinks and act soft because being feminine is (considered) weak and silly.

Girls in school are always encouraged to join sports teams but the boys are never encouraged to join any home economics classes or drama or dancing.

Society has some internalized sexism to deal with, men and women alike. Plenty of ladies bash on feminine men. Well, plenty of women bash on very masculine women, too. :I

ALL THAT ASIDE, you're incredibly handsome, Deery. We should post your drag pictures in the hot males thread and your other pictures in the hot females thread.

@ Tara - I agree with pretty much everything you said. However, my aversion to cross-dressing has a certain degree of personal preference in it. As you said, it is not usually looked at as a very masculine thing, for a man to be 'a dancer.' I'm an avid dancer, and I have a high respect for pretty much all things 'Dance.' This is something that I will proudly display, regardless of any societal feelings about it. Cross-dressing, though, while not considered a very 'masculine' thing to do, is also just something I have no interest in partaking in - unlike dancing.

@ Deery. I would say the lounge is a good place to put it.

I totally understand that not everyone is going to want to cross dress or do things outside of their gender role. Some women really enjoy being feminine and some men really enjoy being masculine, and that's fine! As long as you're not hurting anyone and you're being or doing what you want, you get a thumbs up in my book. For the record, the style of dance you do is considered pretty masculine (and it's also awesome, btw, as are you). I was thinking more along the lines of ballet or.. whatever other feminine forms of dance there are. Regardless, DANCE ON, MAN. DANCE ON!
