Dreads are pretty cool, though, the whole "permanent" aspect of them puts a bad taste in my mouth. Anyone that knows me knows I like different hairstyles. You make very good points. I too am for keeping things open to change.
And dreadlocks are kind of permanent. I have to admit that I'm a little
nervous and that is probably the reason, why I haven't done it already.

Most people I have told this to actually said that they would look good on
me. Thanks for the additional boost at the end there Ah, that damning
self-doubt, though. It's annoying that I have to overthink everything.. :-/

I will post pictures for sure, if I ever go through with it.

Edit: I have been thinking of different variations, too. Maybe not all of my hair?
I have seen some pretty cool hairstyles that were a 'dread-mix-kind-of-thing'.
But I really don't know very much about the possibilities, some of them looked
like they were a lot of work. (Like, developed over years) I know a few people
with dreadlocks and all of them pretty much have different ones. If you know
a good place to read up on it, it would be much appreciated.

Edit3: I think SKA's dreads look nothing short of amazing.
