Yeah, reptiles require a lot more attention than a snail. Most of the things I keep are really easy to take care of, snails/slugs and spiders in particular. |

Awesome, I used to do the same with lizards (particularly geckos) and study them in glass jars but after a few days they would always die so I learned to admire from a distance. I kinda want a snail now just to watch it eat, that was such a weird video idk why.

Nosir, it's true! I've got.. uhh.. 4 spiders right now. A female cupboard spider who is actually dangerous but not aggressive at all (the females look like black widows), two female wolf spiders (dunno the exact species, most don't have common names) that are totally harmless and fairly small, and a male giant house spider. He seems big and scary (and has actually grown about an inch since that picture and is still growing) but he's harmless and not aggressive at all.
Kind of silly that I've been bitten by my snails but never by a spider!

See, now spiders don't bother me in the least. They're like barn cats--they eat pests. Slugs and snails, on the other hand, are pests.

Actually, some snails and slugs are carnivorous and eat other snails and slugs that gobble up your garden. So they aren't all pests.

They are my Godfather's. He didn't buy them. I don't know the whole story behind them, but he did business with some very affluent Japanese businessmen and the blades were one of the gifts he got in return. Originally Posted by GavinGill
