jeez... i dont check the posts on this thread for like what? a day? and i've missed photography conversations... what kind of camera do you have gnome?
why do i always do this backwards?? i look at the discussion before i look at the pictures...
ahem!
gnome... those eye shots are INTENSE! what kind of lens do you use too??? thats friggin awesome!
I have a Canon Powershot A610. I LOVE my camera, it was very cheap ($260), and it has awesome manual settings, video support, and an amazing macro function. I don't really know what type of lens it has, I just use the one that came with it. It has a 4x optic zoom, and 4x digital, so I can technically go up to 16x, even though I never go past the optic zoom for clarity. I don't use zoom at all for macro shots, as it seems to mess up the focus. It is, in my opinion, the perfect amateur camera.
If you like my pictures, I just made a thread in the art section with a few more. I'd love to have input from a (professional?) photographer!
I've been looking through these photos, and Burns and Mes Terrant......daaaaaaammmnn!!!! Shazam.
I hope thats not "sexual harassment":hump:
Good lord I haven't checked these threads in months!!
Um...can I fall in love with Cold Blooded now? :D Seriously...can you get any freakin hoter? Please don't post anymore pictures...it's just not fair. hehe...sorry...
Burnsy yey wearin your HP necklace, I'm lovin' it girl!!! Ame, you make me want to sculpt cookie charms hehe.
Hmm...I need to post some new photos...
Yeah, the macro function is a lifesaver, and especially when it takes incredible pictures like yours. Damnit, only $260 for a 5 megapixel? That's awesome, I'm gonna have to go camera searching pretty soon just so I can get a good eye picture. Mine are multi-coloured and I want to see them close up. Thanks for the info. :DQuote:

And Mes! Your eye looks crazy!
Ah, phew, now I don't feel so restrained. :p
That being said, I think you should put some pictures out yourself, nina. :D
Beautiful eyes Mes! Well, technically eye.
I dunno what it is about eyes. Almost my favorite body part.
Thanks CB, Half/Dreaming, and Out of the Blue! :D
Beautiful eye Mes, nice hearts in them too!!
Nice eyeballs, guys. I'm ready for the ears now!
*Jumps on the bandwagon and gets his camera out for some eye shots*
I was going to say my eyes have hearts in them too when I look at her but thought it was way too cheeeeeeeeesy!! lol
Wow, you have some crazy eyes AdamA!
I took an amazing picture of my eye a couple of years ago... I even made my sig at the time out of it. I have gotten my camera stolen since then, and I can't seem to find the picture on my hard drive. :(
I can't jump on the bandwagon...
EDIT: I found it!! Woo Hoo... ok, I'm gonna post it. It's 2 years old, but I don't think my eyes changed very much since then.
My eyes would freak you guys out. Unfortunately I don't have any means to take a photo and show you guys that endless beauty that is......my eyes.
Turquoise/blue in the mornings (the best), hazel during the day and night.
These SUPER close ups of the eyes are kinda freaking me out.
Rods and cones or whatever they are.!?
But eyes can tell a lot, I think.:holyshit:
My best friend discovered that I have sunflowers in my eyes. Which is kinda cool because he's right, and it's something I've never noticed myself. I'll try to take a pic if I get the chance. :)
Rods and cones are the photoreceptors all the way at the back of the retina, on the inside rear surface of the eyeball. The colorful part we're all taking pictures of is just the iris, the muscle which regulates the size of your pupils. I would also argue that it's not so much the eyes that say things as the muscles around them :p
Crazy eyes everyone, by the way!
