About time I gave this thread a kick in the arse. Anyway, new, completely dejunked desktop. I plan on somehow removing that annoying recycle bin icon, too. Anyway, the start menu's up on the top now, and appears when you mouse over it, and I finally gave in and downloaded a dock to appear on the bottom when you mouse over it. Other than that, I'm trying to keep it completely clear of clutter just 'cuz I can.

that's awesome Tsen, I'd love to do that as well...I mean, I NEVER click on any of the poop on my desktop anyhow...I'd rather just have a mouseover start menu myself

that way, Mr. Snowyfox wouldn't have all those poopy icons all over his cute wittle self

But yeah, I've got like 900 desktop icons because I'm an indisciplined little shit, but why take the time to clear it up, when you can make them appear/disappear with the touch of a button?

I'll bet this question is stupid, but where do you right click to find this 'disable icons' of which you speak?

Plus, right click on the icons on the bottom right of the screen and go to properties and then customize then make sure "unused desktop icons wizard" is on and then let it run... it puts all unused icons in a folder for you

Right click anywhere on the desktop and go to arrance icons>disable icons.

that's weird.. when I do that it works of course but the wallpaper image quality goes down. I wonder what caused that.

make sure you uncheck "decrease wallpaper quality on removal of icons"

ok, this isn't a pic, but a question. Does anyone know where i can get skins for my toolbar on IE other than Hotbar? that messes my comp up.

I'd just switch to Firefox. The skins in Mozilla are so much easier to find and use

I think what this thread needs is a little more Gackt. My current desktop (and yes, I color co-ordinate):

Really? Firefox has always been faster for me...'Course, you could try Opera. It's REALLY fast, though not as user friendly.

Though you might want to try the extension FasterFox. Supposedly it can speed up Mozilla a bit. Also, the IE tab extension would help with the messed up chat
