Got some more photos of Malinki, my cat. Here's one from a while ago:



A little incident that happened a couple of days ago...So we have this clothes rack:



So one day there's a sheet on it, drying after being washed. Malinki decides to get onto the sheet, probably cos it looks soft. Unfortunately she didn't count on her weighing the sheet down and creating a hole which she then couldn't get out of





She didn't seem overly concerned by the situation, just a little puzzled. And very cute

No, Malinki is a Russian blue, I think they're a bit more slender than British Blues.

Sorry to hear about Joey, my old cat had an illness when we got her that we didn't know about, but which slowly got worse and worse until she had to be put down She was only 8 months or so old, still a kitten really.

Red XIII had a play date with his brother, Jordan, yesterday. Two big dumb oxen running around. They are 8 months old, and around 85 lbs (38.5 kgs) each. Both are red/rust males. Red is a pet-quality Dobe, and Jordan is a show-quality boy (and has already won some shows!). Jordan has a bit darker coat and is a tiny bit taller than Red. They both have light-colored collars on, but Red's collar is wider and gold-colored, and Jordan's collar is thinner and yellow-colored. It's difficult to tell them apart!

Jordan play-growling at Red, and Red is not sure what to make of it! Red isn't allowed to growl during play, but that's how Jordan is used to playing with other dogs. I think Red kept thinking Jordan was going to attack him! Here's the video: http://s41.photobucket.com/albums/e2...t=MOV05507.flv


Both pups were pooped by the end of the day!

Oh my god Burns...They truly do seem to love each others company. Do they wake you early in the AM ever? Thanks for the videos! (I hope by "pooped" you mean literally as well as figuratively)

Ahaha that second one is hilarious where Red just stands there for a moment, blinking at Jordan after he growled. So cute.

Well Jordan was just visiting - one big doberman is enough for me! But no, Red's pretty good about not waking us up. He usually lets me sleeps til 9-9:30am, and then starts banging around in his crate. The cats are worse for waking us up than the dog is!

Thanks, Mes yeah Red wasn't quite sure what to think about being growled at, it was so funny!

Heh, yeah...I have a cousin with one cat who tends to nestle on my chest while I sleep, cute, but scared me straight and woke me since I was not expecting him.

Yeah, they do look like a whole lot of fun to play with. It amazes me how the sizes of different breeds vary so very much. I think when you got them, my doggy was about 4 months old and they are more that 5 times her size

Yes, she was originally kept for further breeding but after her second litter they decided to sell her. That was when she was 2, so we've had her almost 3 years now.

Nice videos of the dogs at play Burns, I saw some earlier pics recently of Red with his ears taped up after...that thing, can't remember what it was called...anyway, what would he look like if that hadn't been done?

Tell me about it! Sometimes I don't realize how big my dog is until I see other peoples' dogs and how small they are! Red still thinks he's a lapdog though

She is beautiful! Russian Blues are such outgoing cats. People usually describe them as being dogs in a cats' body because of their social personality toward people. Very lovely coloring as well!

haha, the cats are harder to get good pics of, though Titus is such a camera ham - he usually poses for the camera!

What you are thinking of with the dog's ears is called cropping - then they have to be posted up with tape to get them to stand. If the ears weren't cropped, they would be floppy, like a beagle's. They are very cute uncropped, and I originally wanted him that way, but the breeder won't let any puppies go uncropped, since that is the breed standard here in the U.S.

haha yeah exactly! I think anyone with cats can relate to that video, LOL!

Here is Pickle and I in my family room. I'm not that dilligent about her exact age, but I think it's around 9 months or a little bit over by now...

:/ Gimme a break about the hair, I just woke up and clicked that there button (and hasn't gone to the shop in probably a month and a half...my old fro days pulling me back.)
