Thanks, Oh yes they did fight a bit, but were best friends too. We had to put Tyler down last year, cancer.

Males will usually only fight if they are unneutered. Most neutered males who have grown up together, or otherwise don't mind each other, won't fight. Gender doesn't really matter like it does in dogs. I have to two male cats and they are the gayest cats ever, lol

Because bettas love tearing each other to shreds, I've kept only a couple of the fry. Here's the best:

He doesn't have his fins out all the way in this one.

He shows his beauty best in this one, but he moved so fast that I chopped off his head!

I wish my camera wasn't dying. The battery is so screwed up that it will only take a single picture before shutting down! D:

I hate it when fish die. I had a female betta that jumped out of a hole in the lid of 1 inch in diameter! D:

This lil' guy gets along great with my 20+ swordtail fry, too. Unlike his father, who flares at my swords. XD

I Have three cats and one is seventeen and the others are from outside and are 3-4

What kind? What are their names?
Max Shamu and Sheeba.

And what are some things that make your pet unique?
Max is adorable and he is friendly
Shamu is not friendly but is beautiful and friendly only to me sometimes.
Sheba is anti-social but has been getting better with age
Do you have any funny pet stories?
Well once with my old cat we put glasses on it and took a picture(not sheba. Oh and Shamu ran into the fridge once.

Elite, how is your 17 year old cat doing? Mine's almost 13 and I'm nervous about him aging every day.

I like beta fish... but dayum, so many people keep the poor things in these teeny tiny containers and treat them just as a piece of art to look at or something. I guess they don't realize that they want to, well, swim.

They sell them in little cups in pet stores. One of my friends bought her beta fish a 2 or so gallon fish tank, and that thing swam around happily all day!

Actually she is doing bad lately yesterday we took her to the vet and she said she might have cancer. She is more of my mothers cat then mine.

Good morning all, we have quite a few pets in our household. I don't have any photos on my PC here at work, but if I get chance at home, I'll get around to posting a few sometime. We have 2 cats, aged 16 and 15 - the 16-year-old is a tabby and unfortunately, is terminally ill with chronic renal failure, but he's under the vet and we have him on medication which is giving him a reasonable quality of life and comfort; the 15-year-old is a black and white moggy female, and she hates most people and most other cats. I also have 2 snakes - an 8-year-old Western hognose, and a juvenile Carolina cornsnake that eats everything that goes her way. My daughter has an aquarium with a few neons and catfish in it. She has had some bad luck with larger fish, such as a discus, which just don't seem to like our tapwater and have died prematurely.

For me, a house without a pet in it, just isn't home.
