Dog (Spoodle) - Mia(Names after the character in The Princess Diaries[no, not my idea]) ; Cat - Ramses(named after the Pharaoh Ramses II)

And what are some things that make your pet unique?
I dunno about unique, but Mia has this tendancy to lick everyone like crazy

Do you have any funny pet stories?
Not funny, but its' very cute when my cat and dog curl up together. Aww...

This is my bone-headed beagle:



He's lazy, stubborn, knows no taught tricks, but is damn smart. I'll give you some examples.

1. He knows the word 'bath.' For three weeks, whenever we said it, he'd hide under the red chair (as shown in the picture!). When bath day came, we saw his toy hanging halfway out from under the red chair. On the count of three, we were going to lift the chair. He wasn't under it! He was behind the blue sofa!
2. We never taught him "go get your dog bone" as a trick. Whenever we said that phrase, it was after we told our other dog to drop her bone. Once, we said it when the bone was in the other room, and nobody had been chewing on it for hours. He retrieved it! It even works with big bones (like in the picture!).
3. Whever I do get him in the bathroom, he hops obediently into the tub. He knows that I wash his head last, and only tries to get out after I've finished the rest of his body.

He's very vocal, and hums in human pitch range when you pet him. If reincarnation is real, he was a country music singer in a past life.

Sadie- 12 year old Golden/Yellow Lab
Eliza- Egg laying hen

The chickens have quite a personality. Max (or "Maximus Anthony Amelian) weighs at 23 pounds. Sadie is clumsy. Frisco is extremely large, but skinny, and likes to hunt, yet is still extremely friendly. Spike, he smiles .

Do you have any funny pet stories?
Sadie, Frisco and Max have all slept in a single bed together. The bed was a tiny tiny tiny cat bed.

Very cute beagle, Abra! My dad raises beagles, my brother-in-law and sister-in-law have a beagle, and my sister's brother-in-law has a beagle too! My family is overrun with beagles! Nice pics

Venomblood, sounds like you have quiet the family! Calico-colored cats are always female though, so do you just call them male even though they are female? or are they actually a different color? If you posted pics, I could tell you what color they would be considered.

Yep it is! The first 3 days after the surgery were rough (on both Red AND me!) - he wasn't eating well, painful, and his incisions were swollen - but yesterday and today have been much better. The incisions are looking healthier and he is back to his trouble-making self!

Here's a couple new ones of Cloud and Titus

Titus looks like an Egyptian sphinx there. Cloud just looks interested as if he's trying to say "why are you always taking my picture?"

Cloud is not very photogenic usually - I can't use a flash because his eyes always come out red, and it's not fixable with the red eye tool. Plus he hates the camera and usually turns his heads away from it.

Titus, on the other hand, is a complete camera ham and starts posing as soon as I get it out.
