Ok, it's not really the ultimate dream sign, but I had what I thought was a funny experience last week. I'm a newb, and I've been taking all of your excellent teachings to heart and applying them, and I must have missed 1,000 obvious dream signs since starting -- being back in school, driving a car with crazy small wheels that fell off while driving, being in some kind of Starsky and Hutch 70's cop show (complete with Afros and sideburns), spontaneously teleporting from one place to another (not intentionally, just part of the dream) -- yet I missed every one of those outrageous things as a sign that I was dreaming.

Then last week, I had a totally mundane dream, my ex-wife appeared in it, and she was being nice. BAM!! I realize, this HAS to be a dream, because she is never nice! Sure enough, I do a RC (blowing through the nose), and I'm lucid (for a short time, I got excited and woke up). Somehow I guess my mind found my ex-wife being nice more outrageous than driving a clown car or being Starsky and Hutch. Maybe anyone else with a crazed ex can use this as their ultimate dream sign Anyway, thanks for sharing your funny dream signs you've missed too, keep sharing those stories!

dreamsigns tend to be the little things that deviate from the norm, not the big, wild fantasies. I'm not sure why this is, but outrageous dreams usually won't cause lucidity. Amusing post though, it made me laugh

I missed a subtle one once, i was in a corset shop named "Laberge Corsets"...
but of course crazy things like having a casual conversation with a zombie i found in my garbage, driving a boat down the street, and so on, never give me a clue I'm dreaming!

Too funny yelizaveta! Thanks for letting me know I'm not the only one not reacting to the outrageous stuff in our dreams. That zombie in your garbage can, WAS THAT MY EX??! Just kidding...
