Thread: Dreamsigns

I was just wondering, are dreamsigns usually things that are specific to one's own dream world, like for instance, a purple bird that appears in your dreams?
Since I *never* have recurring dreams, this would be difficult. I really need a new way to achieve lucidity, because reality checking becomes hard to keep up after a while, because it's slightly annoying to constantly ask myself whether I'm dreaming, when it's quite obvious I'm in real life. (I have to say it's effective, though!)

yeah a dream sign is an object, or themem that appears often in your dreams. Ex. If fighting happens alot in your dreams, then violence would be your dream sign.

after you get a pretty decently sized dream jornel you should go back through it and see if you can find some. And when you do, start RCing when you see them.


just a question though. Why is this in attaining lucidity and not dreamsigns and recall?

Women I know and am quite fond of always appear in my dreams. Only ones I know, not like Jessica Alba. They always behave normal, so the only things I have for an RC are location and appearance. Any time I see one of the women that are in my dreams in reality I have to stop and think, where am I? Would she be here? Whats off about her. My dream signs are always extremely abstract and hidden like that. Either that or their so broad I feel retarded if I miss them.
Like last night when I saw words that changed every time I looked at them, hippies, Jimi Hendrix shooting JFK (OMFG!), and a trippy yellow sky.

Well I have a dream world specific dream sign(one eyed alien ftw), but i also have one that is just me going obnoxiously fast..it happens all the time in dreams for me. So i guess it can be anything :p

I seem to go through a lot of doors. And not like from one room to another, but from one completely different scene to another...totally random.
