      Dream Journal Checklist

      I've been keeping my DJ for a few weeks now, and I just wanted to know if anyone thinks there is something else I should be putting down in it. At the moment for each entry I am detailing:

      The Dream itself (Duh)
      Any notes or things I wanted to say about it
      Any Dream Signs I picked up on
      Any technique I used or tried
      A list of goals for the nest night/time I remember my dream
      Things I need to remember to do or try (ie Reality Checks)

      Anything else I should have?

      CrimsonWolf, your list seems good to me.

      You could add the time you went to bed and the time you woke up but DJs are pretty much a personal preference thing.. whatever helps in recall is fair game.

      Writing times is key, especially when waking in the middle of the night. Soon, you can optimize when to sleep and wake up for best recall.

      If you want, you could add interpretation. In my opinion, it's unneccessary if lucidity is the goal, but if you want to understand yourself better, you could add a sentence or two with "the reason why I dreamed it," if there was a reason at all.
