      LD Machine but DR Failure

I get the impression most of my dreams are lucid but when it comes to dream recall I'm loosing them. I'm not recalling most dreams lately but when I do, it is a LD or a dream about LD or me doing something I usually do when lucid.

      Anyone with the same symptoms?
      Anyone with the same Simpsons?

      Happy dreaming.

I hate it when lucid dreams fade. But usually they were of low lucidity, which makes me feel only a little better about not remembering them.

Besides motivation and alarm setting, I (always) suggest you keep a consistent sleep schedule. I cannot stress how important this is in recall! Once your sleep schedule is consistent, you can experiment to see exactly when your REM periods end, so you can wake yourself up to remember them. Even if not used for calculation purposes, a steady sleep schedule still helps with natural recall. I went from writing a paragraph last week to writing two pages this morning--on just one dream!

Oh, I have the same Simpsons.

FTP (Finger Through Palm) Failed Miserably last night

Damn! The reality check I use the most is FTP. Last night, I was jumping on house roofs, and thinking... oh... I will do as I do when I dream. (I was feeling a little more heavy than usual). So I thought: "Well, maybe it is a dream, let me check".

When I did FTP (I was expecting it to fail, because I was sure it was real) and... it failed me miserably. My finger stuck on the palm of my hand and didn't get the other side.

Well, maybe it was better like this than on real life I jump off the roof...

Looking for a better Reality Check Method.

Nose plugging. It may look dorky, but you only use it really in two situations:
      -When you wake up
-When you already have a feeling you are dreaming. In this case, it is a secondary reality check. The first must come from sensing the wierdness of your surroundings.

I've never tried it, but it seems to me from both what I hear and seems obvious to me is that FTP is horrifically unreliable. Nose plug is know to have a virtual 100% success rate, which is why I think most DV members swear by it. I do, at least.
