If you are like me, you probably have a bit of ADD in your dreams. While Lucidity probably won't be lost by being distracted by a wheel of cheese rolling by, something more engaging such as a DC striking up a conversation with you very well might do it. |

If I don't keep the fact that it is a dream constantly in mind, lucidity disappears. Sometimes a simple distraction or change of scenery will to it. |

It happens. Awareness at a time your mind is usually unaware is a tenuous thing. I've lost lucidity almost as soon as I got it. "Oh, my, I'm dreaming! *lose lucidity*" |

Yeah.
It also has to do with your REM state. 15 mins is 15 mins. You can make your dream longer in dream time (if you know how). But in real time you only have 15 mins of dream time. |
