Thread: anyone get shot lately?

Dying dreams are fun... i get them every now and then, being shot and such. I actually like the feeling, its very relaxing, everything fades and i go numb, its like falling asleep. The pain you describe has never happened to me tho.

Ive heard that dying dreams are a reflection of fear or maybe youve been dwelling on death or something, I think it has something to do with being afraid to die?

id say id be ready to die but i would be lying. but i have dwelled in death. maybe since i hear of so many people my age getting killed that could be something.

Kind of crazy, but I read the title of this post last night but didn't really pay attention to it, well of course I get shot in the forehead last night in one of my craziest most vivid dreams to date. Wont go into detail but some bastard shot me with a rifle like 5ft away, missed the first time, then bam, right in the forehead. I could feel all kinds of pressure on my head and stuff and started to flip out.....yadda yadda yadda in the hospital after a crazy intense ambulance ride, remember lying on the table and nurses talking to me, it was a lil scary, but one of the nurses said something to make me laugh and I felt a lot better. anyways I was freakin shot, it was crazy, this dream probably took up 2 pages in word. later y'all

I don't think I ever died from gunshot wounds in my dreams. They always heal themselves or turn out to be non-fatal. Though its true I hardly ever dream about guns in the first place anyways.

damn... after responding to this post, I also got shot last night... it was kinda funny. I was hiding from this gang, cause they were up to no good, and i was just there... when one of them spotted me, it was Elle from Kill Bill, and she had a tommy gun, anyways, i got shot... then woke up... then i had a WILD I should get shot more often.

the only kind of weapon that ive ever remembered in one of my dreams was that weird pulse cannon from unreal tournament; it was a fight between me and a few other people, nobody got hit though. i dont think much of guns, or i just dont think of them much, but i dont think i will ever have anything to do with guns in any of my future dreams. most violence in my dreams are of being thrown around. holy crap... i just remembered a big chunk of a dream i had last night lol, i gotta go write it down

that pulse cannon would be the shit to have....especially the alternative fire... last night i was doing the shooting, it was at my camp on top of a high ridge with some high power rifle and i was shooting some bad guys walking on a wooden dock on the water way down below, it was pretty sweet, glad I wasn't the one being shot for a change..

i unfortunately didnt have the alternative power , just the pulse sphere thingy's

Wait isn't the pulse cannon the one that you can do the alt-fire/primary-fire combo with?

thats pretty interesting that in lots of people dreams, the first shot misses, wonder what it means...

I've been shot man times in my dream.
I'd never really bleed though.
But when I was shot I do feel a minor sting where it hit.
And usually I pretend to play dead so that person would leave me alone.

i dont think ive ever been shot in my dreams(at least in the ones i remembered) usually someone is about to shoot me or has a gun pointing at me

ive never died in my dreams either


sometimes when right before i should die i wake up or something happens like the dream will go off the story line

one time i did go to heaven and saw my friend whos still alive and jayZ

that dream freaked me out cuz i think being in heaven was so shocking that it shocked me into being kinda awake and i remember questioning the fact that i could have died and being dead was kinda like a dreamstate

I just recently got shot in one of my dreams. I could feel it but since i haven't ever been shot in the waking life I just assumed that’s how it felt.

When I looked at the three bullet holes I could see the wound but there was no blood

Later in that very dream I got shot again and died, but instead of dying I relived the last moments of my dream and lived through it. Also, prior to that I had never died in a dream.

I always dream about someone trying to kill me. It used to be a nightly event. I kind of got used to it. They were vivid so I would have to remember it all day. But then eventually I began to confront whatever was trying to kill me in my dreams. If someone was running after me with a gun I'd just turn around and allow it to happen. If it hurt, it didn't hurt bad and those dreams never left a bad aftertaste. I could wake up and have a decent day. Of course this is probably not how we should handle real life situations , but maybe death in dreams really does represent fear and it's always better to face it.

I realized most people dont bleed when they get shot, I never have.. thats kinda crazy...

I haven't been shot lately, but I had one a few years ago. I never completely died in the dream, but I remember feeling (what I interpreted as feeling) like I was dying. There was no pain; I just fell backward and felt a pulling sensation from the wound. It was scary because I was NOT lucid, and it was very vivid.
