Today I just figured out my dream sign. It is my driveway... Most of my dreams take place on my driveway with weird people. For example, going up my driveway is a common dreamsign for me... or doing something on my driveway like a war or putting out an imaginary fire |

Ignorant bliss is an oxymoron; but so is miserable truth.
Ya. I'll do it every time I come home from school ... |
|
Once I figured out what they were, I found dream signs very useful. Lately, I get mostly lucid by recognizing dream signs. |

Sleep well and prosper.
I am beginning to recognize out-of-place people as dream signs. I dreamed I was having dinner with my next door neighbours once. Suddenly I realized that it was not possible for them to both be there because the husband, in real life, was out on the tugboat for a month tour of duty on the Mississippi River. I did a reality check by looking at my left hand and making my fingers grow real long. Dead relatives are dreamsigns to me. People I don't know being where they don't belong are also dream signs for me, like strangers at family reunions. Vehicles I used to own are also dreamsigns. My old '72 Suzuki t-350 has shown up in many dreams. |

My car not functioning correctly is one of mine. Sometimes I will get really frustrated trying to work this car that's not doing what it normally does. Maybe because I'm bad with cars anyway - as far as knowing how the inside works and all. Another thing is my sense of morality - if I'm doing something I normally wouldn't do, in waking life, for personal moral reasons. I've tried to use my glasses as a dreamsign but I generally don't remember to check. If I'm not wearing glasses and I can see - I must be dreaming. Or if I take them off and can still see. One time I remembered, as i was floating high in the earth's atmosphere, looking at some stars, to see what things would look like with my glasses off (since I had them on but knew I was dreaming). It totally skewed my vision. And as i put them back on or took them back off again, everything began to look more and more like Dali piecing together Hubble photographs he took while strapped on the wing of a stealth jet. That's the best way I can describe it. Isn't that funny how hard it can be to describe some visions from your dreams? Anyone else - dream signs? |
|
ya, i know whatcha mean with the whole sense of morality thing 42...my lucid dreams almost always involve me doing things i jus plain wouldnt do normally (killing stealing raping etc.)...makes me wonder what my subconcious is doing rofl |

I think my dream sign is my old house and area around it, but its almost so hard to realize it because i feel so at home. |
|
I dont really have a dream sign but the stars and the moon pop up frequently in my dreams..if im not already lucid I can reconize them..so I gues they are more or less a sign |

Haha, I can identify with you Werburn. Well, I can conclude that anybody doing something incredibly immoral in a dream is a definite dreamsign for most people! And, I figure that the less one might do those immoral actions in real life, the stronger the distinctions of the dreamsigns. |

I just moved, and I have the same thing as lowercase. (except for my 1st natural lucid dream, which was because our old garden was in the wrong place ^^) Most dreams are either in our old house or in another house, which basicly has the same floorplan as our house but then the furniture and all other things are really different. I havnt thought of that before, good thing I do now though, might make me more aware... yay! |
|
Does anyone have a dream sign of 2 different places merging into one? I get this quite often- i walk out of school and my house is right outside. I also get the sign that my eyes are really heavy and i cant keep them open- last night i had a dream of skiing down a hill with my eyes shut last night, because i couldnt open them no matter how hard i tried. This annoys me- one of the few times i actually realised i was dreaming was when everything went blurry and i couldnt manage to stay lucid. It seems to happen quite a lot. And i always have dreams either about forgetting something or being late. I rarely have a dream that doesn't involve forgetting something. |
|
Yup, my old/new house blend sometimes, my 1st lucid dream was because I stood in the new house looking at the garden from our old house. |
|
I used to have a lot of dreams where my house blended with my old primary school. My schoolmates always ran allover the place, wrecking my house. |
|
The boredoms are like a moon on a lake. Only there is no moon and no lake. Only boredoms. So do not talk as if there is an actual thing called BOREDOMS NATURE
I guess I have many dream signs but the one that I recently discovered helps me to become lucid is a person who appears in my dream and in my dream we are very close. In real life, we would never be around each other at all. Well, at least the chances are slim to none anywaze. |
