Since everyone is different, and has a specific lifestyle, etc, it makes sense that everyone would have different specific dreaming patterns/signs.

Ah, ok - thanks for clarifying

Well, you can try thinking about these particular dreamsigns before falling asleep - the zombies, and Santa. Keep reaffirming to yourself that you will associate these two things with dreaming - always - because there's no chance of ever seeing these things in real life. Do this every night before going to bed. Visualize the zombies, and tell yourself that you will recognize you're dreaming - and do the same with Santa. Hopefully this reaffirmation every night will help make you more aware of these dreamsigns, and help you associate them with dreaming.

actually for the most part our dream signs are basicaly the same. how many times have you heard of someones teeth falling out? falling? flying? we're all made with all the same innate properties of the mind.. basic instincs lead to our common dream signs.
that santa thing is kind of weird though lol.

Well, if you think about it, people use the same reality checks, and some people have the same dream signs, so maybe the human mind is the same in some ways.

For me though, my dream signs are messed up. During my dreams, what happened during the day usually plays a major role, or sometimes it doesn't. For example, I'll have to hand in a project. Usually during the night, I'll dream about handing that project in, or a test I wrote.

There are a few common dream signs, such as me being at my old house, or something like that, I guess it all just comes down to "everybody's different".

EDIT: And yeah, that Santa thing is pretty funny. Maybe when you have a lucid dream, you should ask him why he's in your dream. : P

      : O

      HEATHEN!

      *shrug*

Is Santa ALWAYS in your dreams? (like, for the past year? or is it just something that's happened recently? It is Christmas)

If not, maybe just work on your recall more, and look a bit harder? : D

LOL... I've seen him(learking) around in my dreams since I began Lucid Dreaming, which is really since ive started dreaming. Like before about 4 months ago I would never remember any of my dreams. When I began practicing dream recall, keeping a dream journal, really thinking about dreaming, and doing reality checks, ive noticed him in my dreams along with the other dream signs.

Hahaha, that is an odd dream sign.

Has seeing him made you think "do a reality check" or anything? As I said (I think), before you go to bed, say to yourself "I'm going to do a reality check when I see Santa" or "when I see Santa in my dreams, I will realise I'm dreaming, and do a reality check". Say it with confidence, confidence is key.

Then when you do become lucid, you can tell Santa to get the hell out.

No, unfortunately his appearance in my dreams hasnt given me the thought of doing a reality check. He hasnt been in my dreams recently. Which I gues isnt the greastest thing, now that I have fewwer dream signs. Ive only had one LD that has made me question whether im in a dream or not.

I should better my reality checks.

Well ive been getting lazy with them. Ill only do like 3 in a day, where as before I was doing like 20-30. Im not observing everything around me like I should. Before I used to jump on the spot, to see if I were able to jump uber high. I would also plugg my nose and try to breath. Now im only plugging my nose.

I really neeeeeeeeeeeeed to start doing this again.

Haha, yeah. 3-10 isn't enough. YOu should be doing them like, 20-30, and if you do them, don't just do them to get them out of the way, you should do them and really question reality.

(don't worry though, I didn't really do them while I started either)
