Last night before bed, I was reading "It all begins here" by Mary Jo McCabe on dream interpretation. At 4:25am, I woke up from this dream.

A reporter and her assistant came to investigate or take a tour of what I thought was my gym or some facility that I happened to be at right when this took place.
The reporter was a young, energetic, healthy, height to weight proportional, black woman, and her assistant was a young white male, short (5'6"ish). The person showing her around was an older gentleman who gave me the impression of Dabny Coleman.
He showed her a large standing closet (7' tall x 4' wide x 4' deep are my estimates) that was very dark on the inside but encased in glass on at least two sides (the front and the right side). He led her in to this closet, and she walked into it of her own free will. I got the impression that he was trying to show or demonstrate something to her.
I also got the impression of that closet being filled with water, but I did not actually see the water.
He closed her in the closet, and we watched. A brief time later I kept wondering why doesn't he left her out. She's going to drown because she couldn't hold her breath much longer.
He did nothing. I did not know if he saw her but did not "see" her.
I went to the right side of the closet and used my right elbow (which was vivid enough for me to remember clearly) to smash the glass. I took me two tries because the first try only cracked the glass. I did notice that the glass appeared to be two thin sheets of glass that was hard to break.
She came out safely and said that she was going to write an article on the things she has seen so that everyone would know what happened.
Strangely enough she only seemed mildly irritated.

What stood out for me was
1. the extremely dark interior of the closet
2. sensing but not seeing water drain from the closet
3. my elbow (which I saw from outside of my body, like it was aiming towards my face) hitting the glass
4. the double layers of glass
I do not know why this dream stuck with me so, but I wonder if it has deeper meaning as it was more vivid than normal, especially since I only had 5 hours of sleep at that point.
