What is YOUR dream sign?

I don't have any...

Neither do I.

No repeating signs that I see.

I only know one,

Seeing people that i used to go to school with.
I dont see any of them anymore, save for a few. So when i see someone from school i would do a reality check... but i am not good at remembering those.

I have two if I'm in trouble at school for doing something or if I fall down and can't get up or try to scream and can't.

I use to see myself in 3rd person in this stuntman suit..

me too! i am constatnly seeing old school mates and old school grounds!

Aphius said it best in 2004. This is one I'm noticing happens in a LOT of my dreams.

My dream sign is fish.

Third person viewing of self and once a light switch.


When I was younger and had the flu a few times I had dreams of a chair and two people. Thought I was dead or something. But those nightmares were years ago.

I along with Aphius I see peaple that I used to go to school with. It should be a good dream sign but I can never remember how I became lucid. The next thing you know BAMB!! I'm like holy cow- I'm dreaming.

I haven't succesfully attained a lucid dream since I saw this site( I usually have one that I remember with little or no control in once every three months)
But, even though I'm still in school, during the summer, I always have a recurring dream of being in school and going through a regular(or regular for a dream) day of school, or going through various moments of the school year over again. This should be a useful sign this summerbreak.

I have the same exact problem. I have probably 6 dreams a week of me going thorugh a school day during summer break. You won;t believe how many LDs I have gotton because of these dreams. Take advantage of it.

I just recently learned about lucid dreams, so I started a journal. I also see people from my school often, but I've never actually had a lucid dream.

I have several dream signs;
2 little kids- a boy and girl 5 and 7 years old
the number 38
a small dog.
a cat or a fox (Not sure which)


Still wondering what the number 38 is indicitave of.

3 dimensons, infinite possibilites.
8 side ways is infinity. But because the univeres is infinite there is no fixed perspective. so the two connected circles is both the number 8 and the concept of infinitiy.

Also, for those of you with recurring dream signs of cats, understand that cats hate change with a passion. They are also really vein animals

You'd think fictional characters would alert me to the fact I'm dreaming.

You'd be wrong.

Mysterious third person that's like in almost all of my dreams. (Second person is usually a friend) I never can see who it is for some reason. It drives me nuts sometimes.

Exactly the same as this, weird

I find my Dream Signs quite interesting

1. Water: Most of the time, there's bodies of water in my dreams. They could be a small well, lakes, the ocean, or just rain. I'm able to even breathe underwater in my dreams. I find this interesting because I always thought I was a fire person but apparently not
2. Sunset: A lot of my dreams take place at dawn and progress into nighttime.
3. Combat/fighting: In a lot of my dreams, I'm fighting someone or there's people fighting people or creatures.

my dad, especially if he's mad at me
bees/wasps
video games

being in places far away like old hometowns........and maybe always failing to score..lol

a dream sign that I had for years but just recently triggered lucidity is the crumbling,dissolving or falling out of my teeth..this used to aggrivate me before I Joined this site.

I have heard that the falling out of teeth, or the rotting of teeth in dreams is supposed to represent that you have said harsh words that are hurting someone close to you.

I always get this one but I'm always too busy trying to find my teeth that I forget to become lucid.

This is an interesting question. I'm new to the forums, and reading up on dream signs I recognized some common ones I have worked with over the years, but I never considered that there might be 'personal' dream signs until it was pointed out to me here. So I was wondering, "what are some of my dream signs?? Dang"
Reading through these posts actually is helping me pick out some of mine. I have a lot of recurring themes in my dreams/nightmares.

1) driving/biking and hitting a bump and going way way up in the air (ack!)
2) high school setting
3) running, escaping some terrible beast or person for a long time, always scraping away just barely
4) fighting ridiculous amounts of monsters, people, zombies (serious 1st person shooter status, but not in a good way - like, I'm gonna die omg)
5) Trying to run, but moving very very slowly, like huge weights are on my feet
6) a few places recur often, aforementioned middle or high school, and this weird house... Nowhere I've ever lived, but - actually now that I think about it, two houses - they usually have floors that cave in, dropping me somewhere undesirable (hell/catacombs/etc), or passageways, or dumbwaiters or one time it was going down the toilet... weird. Makes my hair stand on end to think of it

I've heard that this can be a sign that you grind your teeth at night. It's a pretty common thing that people do, actually, sometimes stress related, sometimes just a habit from childhood years (carryover from teething?) that doesn't go away. Next dentist checkup you should ask if your teeth show signs of grinding - a friend of mine has to wear a mouthguard at night because he grinds his teeth so badly - they are like FLAT. He's 24. It's so crazy it looks like he has herbivore teeth!
