For how many days you had no recall? Was there any major change since then, especially sleep-wise? If there were no change and it's not for long, then no need to worry much, dream recall sometimes gets affected by things we don't know about but it will be back for sure! |

Dream Recall has a tendency to fluctuate every now and then so don't worry. It'll come, just read up on the compendium and see which technique works best for you. |

I was so much older then, I'm younger then that now.
Persistence. Sleeping persistently, trying to dream persistently. Being on again off again is worse than not trying at all. |

Because its pretty much like starting a fresh again of you have never been good at it. Like, of you have bad recall and keep going on and off, what little progress you made would be gone, but if you we're experience and took a brake, it would be like learning to ride a bike again. Not sure if that made sense, but none the less, that's my opinion/view on it. |

Agreed with the others. Also, when you journal, don't stop right away. Even on days when you can't recall something, you can write down 'no recall today' and maybe add some notes as to what you did/ate before bed, etc. that may have affected it. The important thing is the intent to recall your dreams. It may take some time for that to set in and actually let your subconscious help you out, but it's bound to happen if you keep trying to recall them. Good luck |

I haven't tried quitting smoking because I never had a cigarette in my life. |
