My New Dream Sign

One thing that helps me when reality checking is checking out my tattoos. I normally just look at the one on my forearm because it's very detailed and I've never had a dream where it looks as good as it does in reality. Anyway I wanted to get a new tattoo and I thought this was a pretty good idea.

It's from an Edgar Allan Poe poem called A Dream Within a Dream. I've always been really drawn to that line and I figured it would be pretty good to get it tattooed on me so every time I look at it I am reminded of lucid dreaming and my intention to become lucid. It's also pretty good for reality checks as I imagine the worlds would probably be jumbled up in a dream.

I didn't get this tattoo just for lucid dreaming (That would make me one dedicated oneironaut lol) but I figured it would definitely help me when it comes to lucidity.

I was thinking of this, too. I never got to try to use my tatoos as dream signs, even though I have a few :). But I might get the line "Am I dreaming?" tatooed somewhere. That would be neat.
