      Scene Transition Reality Check

It occurred to me today how dreams seem to transition from one scene to another without any rhyme or reason. You can be doing something in one place and almost abruptly you find yourself in a new location. You open a door in your house and you are on the beach. You turn around on the beach and you are in the woods. You decide to follow a path and suddenly your are at the end of it. So on and so forth.

So today I started wondering. What If those moments in real life when you realize you are not where you were a moment ago; THAT is the ideal moment to question reality. For example, lets say you are at work and decide to go to the bathroom. Then, while in the bathroom, you realize you are in a new place and do your preferred method... RC or RRC or awareness... Whatever it is you do.

I am sure I am not the first to think of this but I started doing that today. I am always looking for fresh ideas and this seems like it could work over time. What do you all think?

This is a great idea but the dream may create the illusion that the transition is normal, I think it only works if you have a high level of awareness

You can always build up that awareness by practicing ADA/SAT/RCs during the day .

But yeah, Xanous, that sounds like a great idea. The only problem with me is that I don't really find myself someplace without knowing how I got there, but for someone who does zone out a lot or doesn't pay attention all that much it could work quite well.

That's the point. To build your awareness.

I'm not saying I zone out like that in real life. But I do in dreams though. What I mean is when you move to another room or start another task really take note and question how you go there. Don't just take if for granted that you know why or you will do the same in dreams. And it all goes along with ADA/SAT/RCs. It's just another way of looking at it to keep things fresh.

Good stuff Xanous. This method should work great. I used to RC when ever I went in our out of a building, so that is kind of the same idea It should work and is an easy RC trigger to remember to do.
