Anything with vitamin B6 in it works... Banana+Peanut butter sandwich maybe? |
|
Normally I just have regular dreams that aren't vivid at all, only maybe some parts If I focus on them. I write in a DJ every day, 2-3 dreams normally and I do SAT. Any tips on making dreams vivid without any medical supplements (don't have access to them) but normal food that makes them vivid works. All help is appreciated |

Drink water before you go to bed. It helps with recall more than you think. Another thing is to try to be more mentally aware during the day. The more details you observe the more you'll observe in your dreams. ADA helps with that. |

I was so much older then, I'm younger then that now.
I read somewhere that it's been shown, that people who take about 15 milligrams of Melatonin, have reported vivid dreams. I usually take about that much, along with chewing a vitamin tablet or two before bed, then I tell myself before bed "I Will have a Lucid Dream, and I Will remember it in the morning." |

shiiiit 7mg ??? the ones i take say they are 100mg???? i don't get any memorable dreams. i took 2 before bed last night with a melatonin, know i had a freaky dream at the start but can't remember shit.. |

It also helps if you have Really good dream recall, even those with extremely vivid dreams won't remember much about their dreams if they don't take the time to try recalling them. |

I have started drinking one or two glasses of apple juice a few hours before going to bed (which was actually recommended on these forums) and it has worked for me. I also notice how my dreams become more vivid (or I just recall them better) as time goes by. Apple juice should also help with the vitamin B6, so taking that should have some sort of an effect, at least for me. |

I noticed that I had some kind of shot (like an energy shot drink, except it's for sleeping) It has melatonin and htp-5 in it, which I've heard can induce more vivid dreams. |

I have found drinking anything over half a cup of apple juice concentrate during a morning WBTB helps me in regard to vividness in dreams. However I only use it as a 'treat' two or three times a week just in case my body gets used to it. Note these concentrates from the supermarket have a lot of sugar which should be taken into cosideration. |

Mayhaps it's something to do with the amount of sugar that helps to cause the vividness as well. Then again, the placebo affect can often come into play when it comes to what you believe will happen, and what should actually happen. Ah, the power of the mind, we know not much about it, but it will always be there, just waiting to be discovered. |

Alright here's an update: |
