the only way I could see someone picking up where they left off on another dream is just to let it happen, or get lucid. so if you can become lucid, go for it, and start up your dream...but if you can't...you can try to, or just wait for your dream to come back again, cuz it might do that.
you call this a free country, but why does it cost so much to live?

i am a beginner and i am goign to try all these techniques tonight, but one thing i have always been able to do is go back to where i left off on a dream after awakening. all i try and do is stay perfectly still, try not to get distracted and let myself fall back into a deep sleep and most of the time im following my dream, unless your awaken abruptly. most likely then you'll be startled and cant concentrate, also i ahve no idea what im talkinga bout, but go ahead and try what i do

I've heard them called loophole dreams. I've had a few myself. I think they just happen spontaneously. Of course it's fun to go off with a purpose when you're lucid.

You can also force yourself to have a specific dream. Some tribe of indians used to do it to make important decisions about what to do. They would have a committee have the same dream several times in a row, and use what they learned (about game, water, etc.). to make decisions.

Hehe, I do the same thing all the time to get back into dreams (only normal dreams, havent had a lucid one yet). But I do that, and it works for me!

Know what's weird? Sometimes when I wake from a dream I will fall back asleep and pick it up again before I wake up to write them down. Most of the time when I "pick it up again" I'm in a totally different dream, but for some reason it feels like a continuation of my old dream.

Like last night, I was watching this Speilberg thing on the sci-fi channel about abductions (it was called Taken) and I dreamt of an alien that looked human but was really a colony of aliens (specifically 3000 full size alien entities compressed into the same sized human shape). Then I woke and fell back asleep before I realized I should've written it down. My next dream seemed like continuation but it was about some rich guy and we went to a library and the librarian showed us pictures from a pamphlet of art (the imagery in it was also from Taken).

Strange, no?

isn't this technique called WILD? hmm...if so, i've done it. if someone wakes me up from a dream, I just lay still and picture myself back in the dream...or..well... focus on images of the dream. I enter the dreams fully lucid. wait...that's a WILD.

I do this alot when i get up to go to the bathroom. Half asleep wandering to the toilet. Then hurry back to fall back into the dream. When you awake just do whatever it takes to get back to bed in a hurry and dont focus on anything else until your dreaming again. It might cost you peeing all over the toilet and maybe in the hamper but its worth it to get back to dreaming.

Lucid terror?

Paper-

with all this fake think they are stupid. You may find that retards hold some of the answers to your most urgent questions.

If you are so lucid, why then do you give in to the desire of this illusion?

You seem to manifest fear in places that don't exist. Do you have lucid nightmares or do you just create the nightmare for yourself in the daytime?

I think that you would become more enlightened if you looked for the wisdom in others rather then the faults you find in them, that are really just reflections of self.

I only say this cause I've been there.

Om. we are all the same, dreaming the same dream. it is pointless to attack yourself, to pick on others for minor discrepencies.

peace, good dreamin'

ps-don't trust the dictionary, language is a pile of entropic metaphor constructed from slang and, you guessed it, the retards. The word virus!
