I am usually good at dream recall, but last night I repeated to myself "I will remember my dreams,etc..." and when I woke up I remembered nothing. After a while I remembered a fragment but nothing else. What should I do? |

Life is but a dream....
uhh...wait 'till the next morning? heh, maybe it was just a bad coincidence that you actually tried and failed instead of the usual. I don't know, trying to jumpstart the topic, I guess. |

Simone93, we've all had mornings where we could only remember fragments or nothing at all. |

Yes, it's nothing to worry about, just relax and say to yourself that tomorrow you'll recall twice as much dreams as you normally do. |

You may also want to try reading some info about dreaming or lucid dreaming right before you fall asleep. Whenever I do this, I'm always in the frame of mind to fall asleep and remember my dreams more clearly. And I can usually remember more per night. |

A very effective means of assuring improved dream recall is to threaten to slap your arm or leg so hard that it will make you wince in pain, IF you do not only remember your dreams, but even if you don't find the dreams particularly interesting. |
