I think it's the opposite for me. I tend to be able to recall my dreams better during school, because I'm not staying up until 2:00 and messing up my REM. |

I don't think I found someone with a similar problem. |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

If you are having trouble recalling dreams on school days then you should examine how you are waking up. If you use an alarm that startles you it can kill recall. Try to get enough sleep that you can wake up before your alarm. |

This is good advice. Although, setting an alarm may have its upsides. I have my alarm set for 7:00 every weekday, and 11:00 on weekends. Since I'm so used to hearing the loud alarm go off at 7:00 and 11:00, my body has gotten used to waking up half an hour before they go off, so not to be startled by the noise. In this half hour, I can recall my dreams and just relax in bed until the alarm actually goes off. |

Agreed. I am tempted to stay up late on vacation, and am normally worn out from school work so my body falls asleep easily. This also helps immensely with the free falling technique, as first posted but jeff |
